Empowering independence through advocacy, outreach , peer support, skills training , and transition services. The Center is designed to provide access to programs and services that enable people with all disabilities to realize the freedom to choose their personal, independent living styles. The Center assists individuals with a wide range of disabilities, including physical disabilities, mobility impairments, vision loss or blindness, hearing loss or deafness, intellectual and developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, chronic health conditions, mental health disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and other visible and invisible disabilities. A formal diagnosis is not required to receive services. We recognize that many individuals experience barriers that impact their daily lives and independence, regardless of whether they have received an official diagnosis. Our goal is to provide support, resources, and opportunities that help individuals achieve greater independence, self- determination, and full participation in their communities.
